I’m really pleased to see that this blog has made it into the top one hundred Conservative blogsites as voted by readers of Total Politics magazine. It was no surprise that Iain Dale, political blogger and one of my Tunbridge Wells constituents came in at number one; but it was a pleasant surprise to see that I finished off the list at the other end!
I was never one of those to keep a diary because I just never seemed to have the time to sit down every day and write an entry. But once I started to look at the range of people I knew who wrote daily blogs about their thoughts, their opinions and their observations, I thought it might be worth the effort.
The Total Politics Blog Poll was conducted during July, and if you’re one of those who voted for my blog, then I thank you. Who knows – maybe I might even start to climb up the rankings next year!
