How did the Prime Minister get his job?

Astonishing. Gordon Brown decries Hazel Blears’ abuse of tax laws as “unnacceptable”. David Cameron disciplines and deselects MPs whilst Gordon Brown sits on his hands. Chancellor Darling ‘flips’ his homes by moving into Downing Street – apparently because of the Northern Rock crisis.

Yet Chancellor Darling, speaking on today’s Politics Show on the BBC, steadfastly avoided any criticism of his colleagues, and stuck resolutely to the idea that there should be no talk of a General Election against the current backdrop of economic crisis.

Shouldn’t these people hang their heads in shame? They’ve taken our money, abused the system to line their pockets, and created the very rules they now blame for that abuse.

Chancellor Darling insists that any future Government “must have a mandate”.

Tell us again Chancellor, how did the Prime Minister get his job?

  1. Howard says:

The same way you got yours… convince enough people to vote for you… or did you think you got there on good looks and charm alone?
